Legendary Youngest Son Reviews :
This one gets a clear recommendation from me!
I like the MC. He’s decisive and his half-faked “carefree” personality, which hides his calculative and ruthless self, lights up the otherwise oppressive and cruel environment and mood of this manhwa (at least in the first ~25 chapters). And that is no joke here, there were times I got seriously bewildered and enraged by this heavily suppressing and disgusting family and society in general and how mercilessly direct the author is showing and describing it. Sure, there is heavier stuff to read out there, but this one still hit me sometimes.
The actions and decisions of almost all the characters are realistic and understandable for people as ruthless, cruel and inhumane as them. Yet, it doesn’t feel over exaggerated, so it’s not just a tool to make them the evil antagonists. They simply follow their desire by all means possible.
The story and world building is also very good and already quite vast. There is a lot of potential for the story in the future and its already quite thrilling. Just one thing I missed here: Considering the vast world building (continents, races, countries/empires, factions, etc), I’m missing some characters. There aren’t a lot of secondary characters compared to how vast the world has already been explained. That will probably change in the future, though.
The pace is also nice. It’s just about right – not too slow, not too fast.
